Invisalign is a popular teeth straightening treatment that uses clear aligners to gradually move the teeth and bite into the desired position. Invisalign is a great choice for those who have mild to moderate misalignment of teeth and want to improve their smile without having to wear metal braces. Invisalign aligners are popular because they are virtually invisible, and many people find it easier to wear than traditional braces. This material works by applying gentle force to the teeth, while maintaining a snug and comfortable fit.

Treatment Plan: A digital scan of your teeth will be taken with the Itero Scanner to create your custom Invisalign aligners. Once your aligners have been fabricated, and delivered to the office, your treatment can begin. You will be given a series of clear aligners to wear for 20-22 hours per day. Ideally, you should only remove your aligners while eating, brushing, flossing, or drinking any liquid other than water. Each aligner will be worn for about two weeks (or as directed) before moving on to the next set in the series. As you progress through the aligners, your teeth will gradually shift into place. The length of Invisalign treatment depends on your individual case. However, most people can expect to complete treatment within 6-12 months.

Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth to improve the appearance. Veneers are recommended when your teeth are stained or discolored, chipped or broken, or misaligned. The process of having veneers placed is usually done in two visits.

Initial Appointment:
- Your teeth are prepared by removing a small amount of enamel.
- An impression is then taken of your mouth.
- Temporary veneers will be applied to your teeth in order to protect them and reserve the necessary space.
- The impression is then sent out to our lab and used to create your veneers.

Follow-up Appointment:
- The veneers will be bonded to your teeth.

Whitening (Trays) At-home teeth whitening treatments are performed using a bleaching tray we create specifically for your mouth. The kit we send you home with contains a bleaching gel, mouth tray, and instructions. After you brush your teeth, you would fill the mouth tray with the bleaching gel and place it over your teeth to wear for a designated amount of time before rinsing your mouth and removing the tray.

While at-home treatments yield excellent results, an in-office Zoom! Whitening treatment (see below) offers the most significant results in the least amount of time. This is because the bleaching agent used is stronger than those used for at-home treatments.

Zoom! Whitening Teeth whitening uses bleaching agents (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide) to remove stains and discoloration from the teeth. Teeth whitening is effective in removing stains from food, drinks, tobacco, and aging. These whitening agents break down into oxygen molecules when they come into contact with the tooth enamel. The oxygen molecules penetrate the pores in the enamel and break down the stains into smaller molecules. The bleaching agent then removes the stains from the teeth. The length of time your results last will depend on your lifestyle and habits. If you smoke or drink coffee, tea, or red wine regularly, you may notice that your teeth begin to yellow more quickly. However, you can prolong the results of your teeth whitening by avoiding these habits and by brushing and flossing regularly.

After you have received Zoom whitening in our office, there are steps you can take at home to make the results last longer. After whitening, your teeth are more susceptible to staining for 48 hours. During this time, it is important to avoid staining snacks and beverages such as berries, soda, wine, coffee, ketchup, and other foods that are vibrantly colored. We also recommend avoiding tobacco products and smoking, which can cause tooth discoloration.
